The “Gray Eagles” film project is being funded through donations to the Gray Eagles Foundation, a 501c(3) educational non-profit. The goal of the foundation is to inspire and educate the youth of today by bringing to life a small, but significant piece of the rich history of World War II, to preserve the memory of the P-51 Mustang and to record the stories of the pilots who flew her.
This will be accomplished with a visually stimulating multi-format story on DVD to be premiered at the National Air and Space Museum of the Smithsonian Institution and will be included in their rotation of historic films chronicling our national aviation history. The film will also be distributed at no cost to nearly 4,000 high schools nationwide.
The interviews and stories of the veterans will be archived and preserved for future generations and available through the Smithsonian Institution.
Please don’t let this chance pass by!
With the lives of WWII aces and veterans nearing an end, the ability to capture their rich stories and to secure history for future generations is rare. It is imperative that we capitalize on this unique opportunity.
Please join the Board of Directors of the Gray Eagles Foundation and other like-minded and committed individuals and organizations in giving generously with your tax-deductible gift.
As a contributor to this project you will insure the stewardship of the rich aviation history from WWII being handed down for safe keeping to the next generation and it being accessible to young and old alike.
The Gray Eagles Board of Directors, Chris Woods, Kerry Huffstutler, Leslie Woods, Mark Huffstutler and Vincent DeSalvo would like to thank the contributors whose generous donations have made this project possible to date:
